Solid Shaft Absolute Series
Absolute encoders are position feedback devices that report absolute positional informations. It generates a unique code for each position and maintains the position information when power is removed. Since each position is unique, true position verification is available as soon as power is up. Thus, the system does not need to return to a calibration point to maintain position accuracy.
Applications:
-
Determining multi-axis orientation for CNC machines used in parts manufacturing.
-
Automatically determining the height of scissor beds used in hospitals.
-
Accurately positioning multiple stabilizers for large vehicles like cranes or aerial lifts.
-
Moving automatic doors or bays without a limiting switch.
-
Continuing robotic movement cleanly even after a power failure.
Solid Shaft Series:
A solid shaft encoder has a solid bar that attaches to the motor and is attached using a flexible coupling and an external flange.
